SmokePatch 17.4.0 Season 2021-2022 PES 2017

Update 17.4.1:

  • Multiple corrections in the database
  • Fixed mini-faces that causes gameplan crash
  • Updated more kits and fixed reported white kits
  • Fixed teams not appearing in other European teams
  • Fixed some teams collars not showing
  • Fixed some boots not visible
  • Other updates and fixes

Release Notes:

  • sp17 v4 is converted from the new season patch sp21 v4, some features might defer and had to be adapted depending on the game
  • Many features and contents are not convertible back to PES17
  • Most SP17 addons will not get any further updates
  • Do not continue FL modes started with last season's patch. (more notes in the description)
  • SmokePatch does not include any real faces. (available as optional addon)

Game Restrictions:

Chile league

  • this league have 16 teams instead of the 17 of this season, adding the 17th team will bug pes2017

Other missing teams:

  • PES17 cannot handle the number of teams as in newer versions, SP17 v4 is maxed up and used all the possible slots to have the maximum that the game can handle

Squad number:

  • the maximum number of players in a team is 32 instead of 40 in newer games, players who cannot be added are available as free agents, also the number of players in the national teams is limited to 23 (26 in newer games)

football life start year:

  • this is not editable and changing it will most probably bug the game as it needs EXE changes, smokepatch does not change the default starting year of the game

SP17 General Features:

  • compatible with all PES 2017 game versions
  • ready for season 21/22
  • adds a lot of clubs and national teams to the game
  • all teams, leagues, and players have real names and logos
  • correct teams settings like managers, stadium name, and rivalries
  • all teams have real kits, many of them are updated
  • no duplicated teams or players
  • applies smokepatch graphics like scoreboards, audiovisual, and backgrounds.
  • adds many boots and balls and formation pictures
  • and many more

Leagues and Teams

  • all the leagues are ready for the new season, promoted teams are now available in their respective leagues, all the teams are with their correct attributes and settings, including the correct manager with photo, correct stadium names, and rivalries
  • every season a new teams selection is added to the database, SP database does not have any duplicate teams or players, with no fake names or players (except for the ML default teams and the editable teams)

the fake leagues in the game are replaced with real leagues:

Fake Europe League:

  • this league is used for the German Bundesliga, all 18 teams of the new season are available

Fake America League:

  • the Colombian Liga Dimayor replaces this league, 20 teams participating are available

Fake Asia League:

  • Japan J1 League is available in this league slot, with all 20 teams available

two fully editable teams are still available in the game, pes united (Zalgiris Vilnius), and we united (Ceres Negros). You can use these teams to make your own. It is possible to export the team import it when we update the patch, see tutorial section

we take the liberty of adapting the season according to the game compatibility, to avoid problems in football life modes. you might find a missing or extra team depending on what game version is installed

Players and Stats:

  • smokepatch uses Konami stats for all the players, although this year we have to adapt the eFootball stats to conform with the PES, some stats would not show precise overall ratting due to differences in the player's details across games

Real faces:

  • Real faces are not included in the patch due to their large size. but are available to download from the addons menu
  • many users get a black screen at the end of some games, this is from faces added from other sources, use the smokepatch face pack, or be sure not to use any faces that have this bug

Graphics:

  • all the graphics files we create for best quality and performance at the same time, with the lowest file size possible for high quality, the graphics (emblems, logos, kits, boots, balls, backgrounds) are all compatible with 4K resolution without losing quality. while consuming the same PC resources as the original game

Kits:

  • all the teams in smokepatch have real kits, with more than 200 teams having this season kits, more usually comes in later updates

Balls and Boots:

  • smokepatch has 40 real balls and 100 real boots, a selection of the best brands
  • no changes in the boot pack, v4 has the same pack as in the previous version
  • new season ball pack is created and provided by (Milad Behzadi)

Formation Picture:

  • about 95% of the players in the database have their correct and real mini-face, this pack is being constantly updated in each patch version

Theme (Audio Visuals):

  • smokepatch v4 has its own bundled theme that includes sp v4 audiovisual, we think that changing the theme every now and then will keep the game fresh, but users have the option to remove and revert to the game default theme using sp switcher, or alternatively, users can change it by applying other ones available at the website addons menu

Addons Compatibility:

  • all SP addons for pes17 work with v4 as usual
  • alternative league addon is version-specific, cannot use for v4
  • the stadium pack R7 is preinstalled and included in v4

SP Switcher:

  • a small switcher tool is included for various functions, located in the game folder, be sure the game is not running if you want to use this tool
  • this tool can deactivate or activate the patch to restore the original game, other options like removing graphics or sound are also available in this switcher

Installation:

  • Extract patch files
  • get all parts and be sure all are completed, extract only part one the rest will be extracted automatically, don't move any of the installation files or folders and be sure you do not get any errors
  • Run (smokepatch17.4.0.exe)
  • run the installer and choose game option and installation folder, the patch must be installed in the same game folder, be sure you don't get errors and that the installer finished successfully
  • if you have old smokepatch faces then they will be used for this patch

NOTES:

  • the installer will upgrade any existing smokepatch version installed previously
  • changing the patch files or adding other mods is at your own risk.
  • SmokePatch tested on the full original game version
  • SmokePatch does not include the game itself
